Together we will mark the maavar-transition between Yom HaZikaron and Yom HaAtzmaut in prayer, learning, and song. Experience memories of Yom HaZikaron in years past, hear from Harel Oren and Keren Borovsky Oren from Kibbutz Re'im, and stand together for the memorial siren and Hatikva. We will finish with a sing-along featuring traditional and new Israeli songs. This program is presented in partnership with the JCA. Registration is required.

On October 7, 2023, Keren Borovsky Oren and Harel Oren lived through one of the darkest days in modern Israeli history. As members of Kibbutz Re’im, located just a few miles from the Gaza border, their lives were upended when Hamas launched a brutal and unprecedented terrorist attack. Their story is one of survival, courage, and unwavering resilience.
