Shabbat Bachutz
Saturday, December 17, 2022 • 23 Kislev 5783
10:00 AM - 12:00 PMReb Nachman of Bratslav used to pray: רבונו של עולם Master of the Universe, grant me the ability to be alone; may it be my custom to go outdoors each day among the trees and grass, among all growing things. May I express there everything in my heart, and may all the foliage of the field — all grasses, trees, and plants — awake at my coming, to send the powers of their life into the words of my prayer…
The intention is to walk and simply be together in the delight of Shabbat. We will not have a formal service, but we will stop along the way to sing gently, offer prayers and immerse in some Torah. Lorin will provide a handout with a few prayers and psalms but will not include a full Amidah (feel free to bring your own siddur or benchers.) Please feel free to bring a Siddur, water bottle, sturdy shoes, snack, layers of warm clothes and a mask, if you'd like. We will aim to be back at TBE around 12:15pm to join together for Kiddush and have an opportunity to eat together.
Facilitated by Rabbinic Student Lorin Troderman. Registration required by the preceding Friday (12/16) at 12pm; meeting location will be sent to registered participants.
Sorry, Registration has ended.
